Where it started
Navoteq began in June 2023 with a simple observation. Most businesses here are not short of software ideas. They are short of software that fits how they actually work: how money is approved, how stock really moves, how customers prefer to reach them.
Inside public systems
Our early work was inside some of the most demanding systems in the country. Our engineers contributed to revenue collection for the Industrial Training Fund and the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria, to financial ERP services for the West African Examinations Council, and to a Lagos State Ministry of Housing platform for training and onboarding artisans.
That is where we picked up the habits we still work by. Approvals and audit trails matter. Payments must reconcile to the kobo. A system is only finished when the people using it every day trust it.
Building whole products
From there we moved to designing and building complete products for clients. Sentinel Escrow lets strangers trade online safely through WhatsApp or a mobile app. Avano turns a phone into a till, scanner and stock book for retailers. A&R Duty uses AI to do the first listen for music scouts.
Today
We work across four families of software, for clients who want a system shaped around their problem rather than a problem bent to fit someone’s template. We start small, price it in writing, and stay on after launch.
